Dr. El-Darahali is a Dalhousie University Alumni where she earned the Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2008 and a Bachelor of Science degree with honours during her undergraduate studies where she published her research in the Experimental and Molecular Pathology Journal. After graduation, she started her career path as a general dentist in Truro for over a year and a half before joining our team at the Bedford Dental Centre. She has also been a part-time clinical instructor at Dalhousie University from 2008 until the present time. Dr. El-Darahali completed the Implant elective program in her 4th year of dental studies as well.
Dr. El-Darahali is a skilled and compassionate clinician in all aspects of general dentistry with interests in paediatric dentistry, endodontic (root canal) and implant dentistry. Through continuing education courses, she strives to remain up to date with advancements in the dental field to ensure that her patients receive the best treatment and care possible. Dr. El-Darahali has a way of making anxious patients feel at ease while under her care due to her calm and pleasant demeanour. She can converse not only in English but also in Arabic, her native language, which is an asset when dealing with non-native English speakers. In her free time she enjoys giving back to the community by volunteering at local charities, spending time with her family, and traveling.
